Michael Acosta is no stranger to heartache and misery; in fact, he resides there. Widowed and self-loathing his existence, he trudges through life since his wife's death, while looking for a way to cope with the pain. Searching for a catharsis to no avail, Michael repeatedly comes short in finding any semblance of peace while the pain continues to fester deeper within himself. Set in 2092, Queen of Heaven takes place at the end of the 21st century where space travel is the norm and comparable with booking a commercial flight anywhere here on Earth.

Thoughts of innumerable possibilities overwhelm him (and honestly frightens him) as they come rushing into his mind. What lies just beyond this despair?
